To ensure the health and safety of our staff and clients in the wake of the COVID-19 virus, all consultations and meetings will be held by telephone or video conference effectively immediately.
Texans have been dealing with the COVID-19 crisis for a couple of weeks now. With schools extending their spring break vacations and otherwise cancelling classes, some parents are confused about how to handle the exchange of their children at the end of the spring break vacation.
Rather than having different courts and jurisdictions handling this issue in different ways, the Texas Supreme Court has issued an Emergency Order regarding possession and access.
Effectively, the court has ordered that all possession and access shall take place based on the school calendar that was published at the beginning of the school year.
Below you will find links to the Texas Supreme Court Emergency Order and some of the local school district calendars.
